Our Story
Rooted in 1948.
Worn for tomorrow.
48 ROOTS is a Palestinian solidarity streetwear brand. Every piece carries memory, identity, and a meal — given freely to a family who needs it.
Why we exist
Solidarity, made wearable
48 ROOTS was born from a simple conviction: that solidarity should not be silent, and that what we wear can carry weight.
The "48" remembers 1948 — the year of the Nakba, when over 750,000 Palestinians were displaced from their homes and villages. The "Roots" honor everything that could not be uprooted: the olive trees, the memory, the land, the families who returned to tend the same soil their grandparents knew.
Every garment is made fresh to order. Nothing is mass-produced or warehoused. We design slowly, print on demand, and ship directly to you — reducing waste, eliminating overproduction, and putting more value back into the people we exist to support.
What we stand on
Three roots
01
Memory
The olive tree, the keffiyeh, the map — we carry symbols that refuse to be forgotten.
02
Made to Order
Nothing mass-produced. Every piece printed and sewn just for you. Less waste, more meaning.
03
A Meal Per Order
A portion of every purchase funds a meal for a family in Palestine. Reported transparently each month.
"What we wear can carry weight.
What we buy can carry meals."
